Course Description

Physician assistant is a skilled health care professional who is qualified to provide health care services under the supervision of a specialist. Physician assistants, also known as pas, practice medicine as a part of healthcare teams with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare workers. Physical assistant are concerned with preventing and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of health care services. Physician assistant’s works include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, assisting in surgeries etc. Physician assistants have same responsibilities as doctors, but they work under a physician's or surgeon's supervision. A physical assistant can diagnose a patient and prescribe treatment.
