Alumni Activities at FAHS Salem

Amigos Alumni Meet 2025, School of Allied Health Sciences, Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (DU) salem. The event happened on Aug 6, 2025, at Annapurna auditorium, VMKVEC, Salem.

Mr. Ajith Kumar, President of  alumini association welcome the gathering  - Prof Dr. B. Senthilkumar  given key note address  and felicitated Dr. Ramesh K., Director of Alumni Relations and Placements, VMRF-DU Salem.  Honored alumni chief guests were Mrs. D. Merlin Shyla principal vivekananda college , Tiruchengode, Mrs. S. Lakshmi senior emergency technician, Canadian hospital, Dubai, and Mr. Zeesan - Team leader (medical coder, Bangalore).  ?Best Alumni awards related to Academic ,Research & Healthcare presented to well deserved alumni .(Based on criteria fixed by committee) The alumni organization contributed endowment awards worth around ?60,000 for 12 students.  Future plans include upgrading the college with a cricket turf, indoor shuttle ground, and hi-tech gym. Mr.vigneshwara , Vice president of alumini association given vote of thanks.

Alumni Association of School of Allied Health Sciences, VMRF-DU.The Alumni meet 'AMIGOS 2023' was held at Annapoorna Auditorium today. The event started with a Welcome address followed by a Chief Guest address by Prof.Dr.B.Sendillumar, Dean-AHS, and felicitation of Mr.Venkatasalem, Deputy Director Alumni and Placement Cell, VMRF-DU. The Proud Alumni Mr. Sankar Ganesh, Ms.Yogapriya, Mr.Varun, Mrs. Logeswari, and Mr Geeshan shared their valuable experiences with fellow students. The Alumni Chairs were honored with certificates of Recognition. The Alumni also gave a gift to the college as a token of their love and affection toward their Alma mater.

Alumini  association of  School of Allied Health Sciences Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation Salem organized a online webinar on 03/05/2020, Mr. Afsal. P.A Cardiovascular & Neuro Interventional Technologist , Aster MIMS  Hospital ,Calicut  was invited as a resource person and delivered a lecture on ‘ Cardiac Pacing’. Nearly 200 students were participated in the webinar.

Alumini association of School of Allied Health Sciences Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation Salem organized a online webinar on 29/04/2020, Mr. S.B. Munim Akthar Cardiovascular Perfusionist ,King Abdullah Medical City Holy Makkah was invited as a resource person and delivered a lecture on ‘ Basics of Cardiopulmonary Bypass’. Nearly 150 students were participated in the webinar.

Alumini association of  School of Allied Health Sciences Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation Salem organized a online webinar on 23/04/2020, Mrs. Celia Vinny  CEO- Authentic Prosthetics, General Secretary – IOA Kerala  was invited as a resource person and delivered a lecture on ‘ Hospital  Etiquette  For  Allied Health Professionals ’. Nearly 250 students were participated in the webinar.
